More than 10,000 Lambeth residents contact us every year. Their enquiries cover a wide range of issues including welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment, consumer goods and services, legal, relationships/families and much more.
Having Difficulties?
If you are experiencing difficulties paying your Council Tax bill, we can assist you in dealing with issues relating to your Council Tax at one of our dedicated debt clinics. At this clinic you can:-
Speak with an independent Debt Adviser
Clear up any concerns you have with regards to your account
Agree a Council Tax payment plan at a rate you can afford
Agree for us to discuss this with Lambeth council tax officers on your behalf.
Always act sooner rather than later!
If you have received a council tax summons or are concerned about council tax arrears, in the first instance, please get in touch as soon as you can.
Received a Council Tax reminder?
The terms of a reminder are that you must bring your account up to date within seven days of receiving it. If in a further seven days your account is still in arrears, you will lose your right to pay by instalments.
Your Feedback
“Please thank everyone who helped me this week. I was losing hope when I tang your number, and now I’m not.”
