Local Research & Campaigns
We have been working with national Citizens Advice since 2017 to research the issues affecting our local clients and to campaign around these issues through short, bite-sized volunteering opportunities called micro-volunteering.
As well as providing the advice people need for the problems they face, we work to influence the policies and practices that affect people’s lives. We do this through conducting research into the issues that affect our clients and campaigning around what our research tells us.
We look for ‘Micro-volunteers’ to help. It can take as little as 30 minutes, and can be done from anywhere.
Activities can include being interviewed for your views on a subject we are investigating, doing desk research, or writing letters to key influencers.

When we are conducting research or campaigning, we look for Micro-volunteers to help. Micro-volunteering takes as little as 30 minutes, and can be done from anywhere. If you have limited time, but you are committed to helping people and want to contribute easy-to-manage, bite-size chunks, then micro-volunteering might be for you.
This enables us to work with people who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to volunteer with us because of time-commitments.
