Citizens Advice Merton and Lambeth (CAML) is looking for energetic, talented and committed individuals to join its Board of Trustees. At the moment the Board is made up of seven trustees, and we are looking to appoint up to another three people who can bring additional specialist skills/experiences, particularly in communications, charity fundraising and legal.
We are looking for people with strategic vision and independent judgement that can support the charity and its executive team to deliver for our clients. We want team players, people with personal commitment and empathy, as well as an openness and a willingness to learn.
Becoming a trustee offers great opportunities in an impactful organisation, helping making a very real and direct difference to so many people’s lives. You will join a diverse Board dealing with a wide range of issues, and will undoubtedly learn a lot about different issues, your community, the charity and yourself. In return, we seek a commitment of around eight to ten hours a month.
