Citizens Advice Merton and Lambeth (CAML) was delighted to welcome all the team and extended charity family to Volunteers Week event. Following two years of remote events/activities, this was the first time all the CAML team had the opportunity to come together face-to-face and what a lovely afternoon it was.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Caroline Taylor thanked CAML volunteers for all their support for the charity and our clients. She also took the opportunity to thank all the team for responding to the numerous challenges presented by COVID-19 in recent years. She highlighted how quickly, flexibly and professionally the team transferred to home working at the start of the pandemic and continued to support clients throughout the two year period resuming face-to-face support as and when Government guidance permitted to ensure clients received the best support possible.
Our Volunteer and Training Officer, Janine Benjamin said:
‘Some of us were seeing each other again for the first time in 2yrs, others were meeting in person for the first time ever. It was just great to be able to bring everyone together under one roof and celebrate our wonderful team!’
