Have you ever applied or supported someone to apply for Employment Support Allowance (ESA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP)?
Are you or the person you supported affected by mental illness or mental health concerns?
If yes, would you be interested in sharing your experience?
We are currently putting together research on mental health and benefits, based on the contributions of Micro Volunteers. Following on from the publication of our first report on Mental Health and Welfare Benefits click here for the reports and due to the fantastic feedback received, we’re now focusing on ESA and PIP.
Micro Volunteering is your opportunity to be involved and help raise awareness and understanding. We would like to talk to you about your experience, and the conversation will last around half an hour. Your contribution will be part of our report, and will be kept anonymous.
What do you need to do?
If you’ve been involved with either ESA or PIP – as an individual affected by mental illness, as a family member or loved one of someone affected by mental illness or as an adviser/support worker of a client – and you’re willing to share your experience please contact Pete Bradley on peter.bradley@caml.org.uk or 07944607776 by 15thJanuary 2018.
Pete will explain what we’re doing, how your involvement can be anonymous, and arrange a convenient time to talk, either at one of our offices or over the phone
Thank You!
