Get benefit application support in Merton & Lambeth
Every year, more than 20,000 residents of Merton and Lambeth contact CAML looking for support with their applications. That is why our aim is to provide information and advice that can help remove the barriers and overcome the obstacles, helping to make life just that little bit easier. The benefits & tax credits systems can be daunting, and sometimes seem overwhelming.
At Citizens Advice, we can help you understand what benefits you may be entitled to. Whether you are a family, unemployed, sick, disabled, older or veterans we’re here to help. Whatever issue you have, whatever stage you are at, CAML is here to support you, from filling in forms to helping you prepare for an appeal to the tribunal service.

How Adviceline works – an example:

A client calls Adviceline with two issues. They need help with completing a disability benefits application and they have an unrelated query about a relative’s will. Our Adviceline Officer completes a telephone assessment exploring both issues. The officer books an appointment with our Merton Disability Benefits adviser. We also explain how probate works referencing information on Citizens Advice website.
