We All Face Problems
Every year, more than 20,000 Merton and Lambeth residents contact us seeking our support. That is why our aim is to provide information and advice that can help remove the barriers and overcome the obstacles – and can make life just that little bit easier. The benefits & tax credits systems can be daunting, and sometimes seem overwhelming.
We can help you understand what benefits you may be entitled to. Whether you are a family, unemployed, sick, disabled, older or veterans we’re here to help. Whatever the issue or stage you are at, we are here to support you from form filling to help with preparing for an appeal to the tribunal service.

How Adviceline works – an example:
A client calls Adviceline with two issues. They need help with completing a disability benefits application and they have an unrelated query about a relative’s will. Our Adviceline Officer completes a telephone assessment exploring both issues. The officer books an appointment with our Merton Disability Benefits adviser. We also explain how probate works referencing information on Citizens Advice website.
