Many of our volunteers are students, or recent graduates. If you are looking to build your experience, add to your CV and learn about issues such as housing, benefits, debt, employment or family / relationships and social policy then volunteering with us will help you do this.
All our volunteering opportunities give people an insight into the work that we do, which is relevant to many university and college courses, such as Law, the Social Sciences and many others.
Our roles are all designed to be flexible. If you are able to volunteer for the minimum amount of time suggested in the role descriptions, then we are very likely to be able to fit your volunteering around your study commitments. If you need to take a break for exams or coursework, this is no problem.
If you are living near us during term time, but live somewhere else during the holidays, or vice versa, then we would happily attempt to facilitate you volunteering with another Citizens Advice service when you are not near to us. The roles are very similar, and very often the
